Hi
Could you let me know when your next 'discover your dead' days are
or do you have a register search service? I am trying to find the burial place of my father who died 9th August 1965 and he lived at Willows Caravan Park.
Many thanks

Dear Sirs

Sadly I missed the discover your dead day back in February. Please could you advise me when the next day is likely to be and I will try and make it. As I do not live that locally please would you be kind enough to give me as much notice as possible. I would very much like to attend as several of my ancestors have connections to St. Andrews in Clewer from the 19th Century. Many thanks Yours faithfully Mrs. C.L. Edge

Dear Revd Dr Baldwin,

With regard to the Clewer bells (at St Andrews church, Clewer, Windsor) the bells were taken down in September and are awaiting preparatory work on the tower to allow the bells to be rehung in a new frame for all 6 bells. Previously the bells were hung in 2 frames with the lighter bells being above.

Regards
Jane Cockman

It is now October. It would be most helpful for ringers generally to learn (via Dove's Guide - see above website) if Clewer bells are now actually out of the tower. If not, we would very much appreciate being told as that happens.

With thanks.

I am looking for my ancestors - the Street family between 1871 and 1930. At least 2 cchildren were christened in the church in 1870 and 1872. On the 1881 census the family of 8 were living at 10 Gardener Cottages, Clewer. I can't attend you 'Discover Your Dead Day' next weekend unfortunately, but would love any information, please.

With many thanks
